The RadAqua monitoring system is used to monitor the radioactive pollution in groundwater. From the data obtained with the help of the “RadAqua” we can construct geophysical-hydrological models to determine the location of the source of the pollution. The area and the potential behavior of the radioactive plume can be assessed owing to data about groundwater levels, the conductivity of the soil layers and geophysical properties of the investigated area. |
